Mullein (Verbascum thapsus) - Ideal for the environmental allergy symptoms of bronchitis; asthma, emphysema, chest congestion and many respiratory health problems. Also acts as an expectorant.

White Horehound (Marrubium vulgare) - Helpful in lung congestion, laryngitis and whooping cough.

Coltsfoot (Tussilago farfara) – This herb contains a high percentage of mucilage and saponins with beneficial effects on respiratory system. Proven to support the natural relaxation of the bronchial muscles. In combination with others, it is outstanding for maintaining healthy lung function.

Lungwort (Pulmonaria officinalis) – Controls excess mucous and provides nutrition for the lungs; helps restore respiratory health to the lungs’ and bronchial tubes’ linings; aids in relaxing bronchial muscles, and works toward the right amount of mucous.

Lungmoss (Lobaria pulmonaria) Long used by British Columbians for coughing, and in Europe and India for lung ailments.

Garden Violet (Viola odorata) This herb is for difficult breathing and coughs, bronchitis and phlegm. Contains vitamins A and C.

Soap Bark (Quillaja saponaria) Used for cough, conditions of the respiratory tract, and chronic bronchitis. It’s been shown to relax bronchial muscles.
